JANUARY
For when and if along the center
There unfolding under drapish
Lengths of buttered light I saw
The cut plum healed abrow your lip
And thought to smooth would be
To lose it and so you, All Love,
Standing halved beholding what
The width of else I stood to lose
Bones in slope below your neck
Counting more than two kind breasts
Children on a sparkling green
Feeding horses oats and roots
JANUARY TWO
glory days long over so incredible
frozen moon view from under the car seat
understanding lullaby understated
under sung
understood
and still i miss
the reason lost dog a pair
our eyes sentimental testament
unique for the elders
and they too have two of lost dogs
and they too have branded eyes two
and yet they have found peace quivering
underneath the porch
